2 Guns: Bobby/Stig
Loved the tight partnership that developed between these two characters. I always thought an ABO AU would be epic for this movie, but even a cool continuation for their road trip/adventure would be super awesome. Stig was my favorite in the movie, I couldn’t help but feel bad for a guy who was betrayed on multiple fronts by his “people”.
The banter between Stig & Bobby was excellent, they’re both very quick witted characters. One of my favorite scenes from the movie is the opening scene with Stig ordering breakfast for Bobby. The back and forth between them and the third party (waitress) was hilarious. Even the zinger later about Bobby & Stig’s heads not fitting in the bowling ball bag cracked me up.
I also really appreciated that for all his mouth gets him in trouble, Stig backs up his talk with skill. The shooting skill was crazy impressive, that enemies underestimate him is a cool story element in the movie.
Ted Lasso: Roy/Jamie
Just finished it, I LOVE grumpy “old” man Roy Kent! Jamie and Roy’s tenuous willingness to work together makes me smile. I ship it but if you’d feel more comfy just having these two be forced to work together that would be cool too! All the characters on the show were great. I’d love to see them trying to do another fund raiser or calendar shoot or anything that football clubs put on—I’m here for the snark and cheek.
The Gentlemen (2019): Ray/Coach
Who didn’t fall in love with Raymond’s character? I thought the type of life he was trying to achieve for himself, and the type of business and range of tasks he performed was fascinating. I was thirsty for more details and various interactions between all these crazy characters! Everyone was smart and clever and trying to outsmart on another! I LOVED it.
I absolutely ADORED the handful of scenes we got between Ray and Coach. Any sort of interaction between them would be adored!! I’m not huge into drug use, but given the content of the movie I obviously understand that it could be a component of a story within this canon.
Coach was great, looking out for his boys and just being such an unpredictable source of shenanigans! The pig thing— I was not expecting that! I liked how his character was portrayed, the respect shown toward Ray in the bar but his firm stance that he wouldn’t allow the boys to be sucked into Ray’s world.
So of course given that Coach was willing to give 3 (4) favors, I instantly wanted MORE scenes with these two characters. Anything you would like to write between these two would be wonderful.
