Yuletide Letter - 2021

Welcome, please feel free to shoot the admins any questions you have about my request(s). I’m looking forward to seeing what you come up with for this challenge. I have a pretty broad amount of tropes I love to read and I’m sure you’ll put a fun spin on whatever fandom you’re here to craft a story from!
Here are some basic topics love love & hate:

Fandom Specifics:
Ted Lasso - Roy Kent, Keely Jones and Jamie Tartt
I adore the characters in the show so if you’d like to toss in some more of them I wouldn’t mind in the least. Roy is my grumpy-marshmallow favorite.
Roy and Keely are amazing, I love their clear, honest and blunt communication. The way they work to solve issues within their relationship.
Roy with his niece Phoebe is life!!!
Season Two Spoilers/
I adore Roy and Jamie’s interactions in season two and would love for them to have their horrible, mean snarky banter in the story. Keely or Ted sending them on an errand/adventure where they’re forced to get along or at least work together *Chef’s kiss*! Jamie tagging along in Keely’s place on Roy’s vacation and annoying the living hell out of his new coach as he’s trying to relax and eat his body weight in tapas would be hilarious.
I loved that even with their cantankerous relationship after Jamie’s dad was such an abusive arse— Roy stepped up to support him. I thought the hug was a beautiful and so needed and that arc was a great insight into Jamie’s behavior for the rest of the team.
I do LOVE how the team are all so humanized, their little quirks and interest in one another. This season the scenes with the haircut or all the guys gathering around for Sam’s responses with the dating app!!! Or last season, the arc about the ghost. The softer aspects of the show are what I truly adore.
Keely was a character that could have so easily been one-dimensional but instead she’s a boss ass bitch! Love her. She knows what she wants and she’s working her fingers to the bones to get it. Her sparkly personality and take no prisoners attitude are wonderful. Her relationship with Rebecca is AWESOME. I love the friendship that has developed between these two and would love to have that be a part of the story.
Keely making her new PR firm work, the struggle of balancing her new workload with her relationship with Roy. Roy channeling his clinginess toward (reforming Jamie) a worthy goal.
I would LOVE to see Phoebe and Jamie interacting. This could be gold or a house fire. I feel like Jamie would be awkward and not know how to talk to a kid but Phoebe — who is used to her Uncle Roy, would take none of his shit and just force him to draw (Her school drawings come to mind and Jamie freaking out over thinking Roy will kill him because she was left with him and is know drawing scarily realistic tits) or play tea party with her and her dolls, or just roll with whatever dumb thing he does say. She could just make him get ice cream, but these two would be hilarious.
Jamie is such a shite in the start of the show, but he’s on his road to being a better person and I’d love to see Keely and Roy help drag him down it. The scenes between him and Roy or Keely — or the few with all three of them are just FIRE. I love it.

FANDOM: Nine Perfect Strangers - Frances Welty
I loved the prickly nature of her character, and how Tony slowly managed to find his way through her guardedness to befriending Frances. Their relationship was super cute on the show. The grape in the pool scene made me laugh so hard.
I’d love to see Toby and Frances post-show. How did they make their relationship work? How did Tony get his girls to talk to him? What was the puppy adoption process like for Frances? Did she start writing again? Are her books being well received? What little things does Tony do that she starts collecting in her notebook for future male love interests in her novels?

FANDOM: The Gentleman - Coach and Raymond Smith
I was blessed with an amazing story last Yuletide but I always hope for more.
These two stole any scene they were and when they shared a scene I was captivated.
Who didn’t fall in love with Raymond’s character? I thought the type of life he was trying to achieve for himself, and the type of business and range of tasks he performed was fascinating. I was thirsty for more details and various interactions between all these crazy characters! Everyone was smart and clever and trying to outsmart on another! I LOVED it.
I absolutely ADORED the handful of scenes we got between Ray and Coach. Any sort of interaction between them would be adored!! I’m not huge into drug use, but given the content of the movie I obviously understand that it could be a component of a story within this canon.
Coach was great, looking out for his boys and just being such an unpredictable source of shenanigans! The pig thing— I was not expecting that! I liked how his character was portrayed, the respect shown toward Ray in the bar but his firm stance that he wouldn’t allow the boys to be sucked into Ray’s world.
So of course given that Coach was willing to give 3 (4) favors, I instantly wanted MORE scenes with these two characters. Anything you would like to write between these two would be wonderful.

FANDOM: The Nevers - Hugo Swann
Right off the bat I loved the weird little ways people used their new abilities in mundane ways to help make their lives easier.
Hugo capitalized on the upperclass’s fascination but also seemed protective of his friend.
Hugo’s insistence of dragging Augie into his misadventures seemed like an escape for Augie from his sister’s expectations.
Plus I love that he plays the fool but has a keen mind working all the angles.
I ship them but would love a piece that just went more into their friendship, little misadventures they’ve shared, Hugo finding out about Augie’s abilities and his reaction. Anything really.
Augie was such a sweetheart I enjoyed his scenes as well. I’d love to see a 5&1 with just him almost getting caught using his ability around Hugo and one time being caught only to find out his friend already knew or something along those lines.
